A native to Kansas City and an Alum of the Kansas City Art Institute, Luis’ extensive artistic & creative experience have been instrumental in developing a regional client roster and placing SPYN studio on the list of top creative firms in the Kansas City.

For the past 12 years, he has helped hundreds of organizations create successful award winning brands, graphic design, web design, social media, marketing, outreach campaigns consistent with the client’s mission and core values. With his artistic backbone, Luis brings creative energy and enthusiasm to every aspect of the studio.

In his parallel endeavor, Hecho KC, Luis connects with his roots as an artist, maker, fabricator, sculptor, metal worker, designer and film maker thru the creation of a Docuseries for Hecho KC.

Luis is currently serving on the AIGA KC Board as Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion and also currently serving as a Facilitator on the arts entrepreneurial platform, GUILTit. He has also served on Boards such as Cinema KC, the Art + Copy Club, of the AAF as Vice President, Urban Culture Project Curatorial Committee, Vice President of Hispanic Capital Day Inc, based in St. Louis and serving on the Truman Medical Center’s, Truman Collective Initiative. He is also a professional actor with Exposure Inc. and has extensive credits in broadcast and print over the past 25 years.

Collaboration and working as an inclusive team is very important to SPYN, so we work with select artist, designers and creatives as a whole, when needed, to get those projects thru completion and deliverables delivered.
